The project:  Connect with the troops

Connect with the troops is a project that came about as a result of a conversation with the America Supports You (www.americasupportsyou.com) team, and teachers calling the customer service department at Connect And Join, the parent company. 

One teacher asked for information on how she could bring into her classroom many of the website components as found on Connect And Join. She also asked how we were handling the issue of supporting the troops, and did we have any Lesson Plans or suggestions?  What about this journaling and scrapbooking?
 
The creative process is a wonderful experience. A few days later and after a quiet conversation with our web developers, the PC Teach It, Editor – Patricia Hill, the skillful art work of George Bowers, the imaginative templates from Keith and Alma Lynne, and the terrific support from Ford Douglass and the rest of the Connect And Join management team:  Felecia, Donna and George G.  along came www.connectwiththetroops.com! 

Heartfelt messages written to our troops from the classrooms of America found on scrapbook pages!  It is our goal to create the World’s Largest Scrapbook and fill it with decorated pages from the students.   Help us tell the troops how much we appreciate what they are doing to support our freedoms!

Release date is Christmas, 2006!
